Synopsis of publication:

In November 2000 the Federal Minister for Health and Aged Care, the Hon Dr Michael Wooldridge, asked the Australian Health Ethics Committee (AHEC) to provide advice on what should be done about tissues and organs currently held by Australian institutions as a result of autopsies.
